A year older and (hopefully) a year wiser

 A year older...

Assalamualaikum.. 33 now, alhamdulillah. my lovely wife have thrown a suprise birthday for me.. wow never did i imagine will be in this situation, for i have told her not to gave anything. what she has given to me is a already a lot, and that was sufficient for life. Alhamdulillah.

Nevertheless, it is a heart warming experience, felt like i have been a great person in her eyes. But i was none of that, in my very own eyes. hahaha. but i am slowly trying to become a better person for her, to my family and others too. hopefully by the time i celebrated my 34th birthday, i will be a lot better than today.

And another suprise at my office. well, i am truly blessed with meeting a lot of kind-hearted people, it almost bring tears to my eyes. thank you Allah for all what u have given me.

And just for the updates - MCO have been extended yet again due to high cases of Covid19. It really dampers the mood, and the long MCO really has taken its toll on malaysian, as suicides and unemployment numbers are rising. Malaysia are hoping for the best, hopefully this will end soon. i will be taking my first AstraZaneca dose in 12th of July. And In sya Allah, all will be well both for me and us - Malaysia.

Suunah Koruss Retreat

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

As promised, updates on the family retreat on 11-13/12/2020.. yeayyπŸ˜„

Well, a day earlier my small family and i depart to banting first, hometown of my in laws. its a tough jpb carrying all the luggage to car, about 4 trips. wow, that is what u got for living in cramped flats in the middle of the city. parking space are limited, if u are unlucky, ur car can can be as far as 500-1000 meters from ur house. well life goes on, anyhow it is. but man, im tired even before the journey begins. haha.. hopefully in 2021 we can finally moved to our new home in Rasa. Aamiinn.

All right, on the 11th, after buying all the essentials wet and dry food for the retreat, we depart from Banting at about 1 PM and we reached Suunah Koruss Janda Baik at about 2.45PM, driving with a steady pace and stopping for lunch along the way. Called the homestay earlier, we are given greenlight to check in early, only a 15 minutes early that is. πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

*my cousin when we go fishing somewhere else near Janda Baik

A little bit on Suunah Koruss for information, should anyone were lost and found my page on it for info on the resort

 1. the resort only caters to large group only (25-35pax)

 2. situated at riverbanks, so u know how near that is to the cold and refreshing stream.

 3. during rainy season, although the river is only as deep as ur thigh, the current is really fast. it makes        u easily tired and annoyed. haha. should a child is to swim, adult supervision is a must.

 4. the price.. ranging from rm800 to rm1800 for a night, fit for 25-30 pax. About (rm32-rm72 per               person/day). u can call the PIC 0182058060 (Kak Min) for inquiries. and do not hesitate to ask for         discounts, if they can give it to u, u will get it.

 5. we stay at Pak Belalang house, with 5 rooms and bed enough to occupy 25 people comfortably. all         the rooms consist of double decker queen bed- self made with heavy wood, but one of the house,           consist of two rooms, with occupancy to 15 person with outside toilet and shower. not that far, about       10 feet, close to the kitchen. maybe this one reserves for the teens and kids to spend the night with          cousins and whatnot. not suitable for family and oldies. The other 3 rooms is in separate,                        interconnecting buildings, small and wooden built, but clean with each having their own bathroom.

  6.  perfect for family day as there is swimming pool for every house there. u will not be sharing with         anyone else except ur family.

  7. u can cook there, there is a stove with 2 burner, a medium size fridge and some basic utensils, wok,        and also rice cooker. but adviseable to bringur own too as it might not be enough for 25pax. there is        a bbq corner complete with stool but u have to bring ur own charcola and steel net.

**All right, hopefully the information is enough and helpful**

Okay back on the retreat. after we arrived there, my daughter's sight is fixated on the swimming pool, and she is ready to jumped in, just like her mother! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

So that evening, we played in the pool until late, close to sundown. in the night we soend time barbequeing marinated chicken and meat, and corn.  thats all for now, really have to rush back to pick up Airis Amanda. to be continued and see you soon!

Fish out of the sea!

So here i am again in 2020. a lot happened, could not update on my life as, well, i am not used to having a diary. but anyway if no one reads, it just be a place where i polish my english as i am not using it for conversation that often.

All right, back to the subject. Alhamdulillah, it has been almost 5 months (15/7) since i started a new job after 5 complete years at Mahkamah Kuala Lumpur. What a turn of event to happen in later part in my life. Already married for almost 3 yearsπŸ‘«, being a father to one cute daughterπŸ‘ͺ, having bought my first home🏑 and suddenly this! Allah is the most gracious, i really am thnkful for all HE gave me. Alhamdulillah. All praise are to HIM.

Okay, my new job is the one that I am really hoping for, for having a bachelor in Agribusiness, it is a dream to be accepted here as Economy Officer in Federal Agricultural Marketing Officer (FAMA). having graduated from UPM in 2013, almost 7 years working in different field, now i am back to where i should be!😍😍😍

But, there is a twist to this. 😏Haha. On my first day, i learnt that i will be heading one of the deparment in Human Resource. what?? I am really a fish out of the pond here. Never had i imagined to be located at administration level. Well, the sustenance put me here, there is always a reason for everything. so, its not all bad, but i need to study hard about HR now. There should be something in store for me in future, i am sure of Allah's planning. In sya Allah i will try my best to get the job done wherever i am stationed. πŸ˜‡

Well, that is all the recap for the readers. thank you for your attention. Also for your information, i am no longer an avid hikers, last tme was Mount Kinabalu back in 2017. but thats all. Gained weight about 30+ kg in the span of 3 years. haha. u can imagine what has happened to me and how good my wife's cooking is! anyway, i hope i can start sharing anything i do here, just for me to reminiscent on it from time to time. Insya Allah we will meet again in my next posting. I will be going for a holiday in Suunah Koruss in 2 days time with in laws and all, hopefully i can put it here for all to see. In sya Allah. Oh, and before i forget, 2020 is a year of the Covid Virus😒😒😒, people are restricted to certain rules and new norms, the ban of movement just been lifted a while back, so that is why we are going for a holiday taht we missed so much! i see u in next posting, if Allah wills it.

Sincerely hoping for everything to be fine for everyone...

As Sobah.. Assalamualaikum and have a good day all!πŸ’“πŸ’“πŸ’“

greetings people..

lot of things happen since my last post. the promise of updating regularly is really not being kept, hahaha...

i got marrid on 2nd Feb this year to a beautiful person named Nurqurratu Aini Zulkifflee, my crush since 2010, i think. hehe.. well3.. congrats to me and her. wedding pics, i don't have that now to be pasted here, but believe me, i am now called a husband to someone! Finally, achievement unlocked! Yeayyyy!

Okay, so, thats that.. for now.

we celebrated Aidilfitri just last week, man, with bigger families, (my wife's, that is), it is really exhausting, but fun, actually. i do miss the times when i was single, doing what i like during the festives, but to be doing what we like, together, is also not bad at all. at least i got to know a lot of new faces, going to new places and eating a lot of raya delicacies!.. hahaha.

so as of today, i gain a lot of weight, not just because of raya, but accumulated from 1st day of marriage,  i diid not do any exercise at all, not i live to regret.. hm.. well, enough for now, just doing the updates here in case anybody decides to keeping up with what i become these days.. adios and assalamualaikum.. till the next posting yaaaa..

btw. im into this now. a lot of rave on this game, so i though of doing some research, haha. now im in too deep. hope not for long (cross fingers)
Assalamualaikum
well well well... my beloved reader (is there any?) hahaha

last weekend, 13.08.16, i have actually successful in garnering strength to hike again after about 6 month hiatus (i am not sure if it is a correct term .. haha again). i manage to call up my long lost hiking friend Syamil Samli, which i havent seen in years to be my buddy for this hike. so, in a short span of time, no discussion, we opt to hike mount bunga buah, because of the location and it is amongst the easiest mountain to climb. (or is it so? jeng je jeng), maybe that is what Syamil thought. haha, sori mil, but that is one of the best moment.

so, the journey begins. i got up early that morning, jogs for 8.75km, and only then i rode to Gohtong Jaya to meet up with Syamil. from now on i abbreviated Syamil's as SS. with almost empty tank, i stopped at shell. first omen that something is going to turn ugly is that, my pant tore when i was about to unmounted the motorbike. man, that was a tragedy. it  tore right between the two thighs area. what luck.

halfway through the highway, came a downpour. yes, that is great, the road is slippery, visibility reduced and all other cars lorry's will slow down. just great. but, Alhamdullilah, i safely arrived in Gohtong at 9.30am. after quick breakfast at the only mamak shop there, Esfan Restoran, (Expensive, mind you). we start looking for the starting point. after 6 years, the starting point which is through private agriculture lands has been closed by fences 2 metres high. what a bummer. after wasting 30 minutes in search of entry point, we just enter the forest through some route at the corner of the shop houses besides a small Buddhist shrine.

and u know what? we lost the trail, because actually the trail we were following is to water catchment area for the shop houses usage below. and after that.. walla, we were puzzled. but because i do not want to waste my precious Saturday going back to KL without conquering GBB, we persisted on. and through what route? i made my own. haha. using parangs, i slashed the undergrowth for a good 30-40 minutes. climbing a very steep hillside,  we finally arrived at the old tar road, which should be the starting point in the first place. Alhamdullilah.

the trail after that is just one way, easy. twe hike for 2-3 hours, and we reached the summit by 2.35pm. after eaten lunch and Zohor prayer, we started descending.and here is where the pain starts. SS have injured the back of his knee, he felt sharp pain inside his knee, so he cannot bend his left knee well. because of his slow pace and we are following a different trail down (we follow some 42 hikers we met along the way), we reach the starting point at about 7.10pm. way past my intended ETA. really had been a long journey, and once again as a reminder, never again come unprepared. well, i will upload some photos just to safe keep it. see u any other time fellas! bye
